You would rather have your children view you in the context of performing a sexual act while fantasizing about a man who is not your husband before letting them see a little blood and gore on TV/at the movies? Really?
I find that a bit disturbing. |

Drat it - that was one of my rare 10's; an exception to my voting system in tribute to the laugh I had.
Personally I am not 'clearly seeing 2 people masterbating'. I'm seeing a hint toward masturbation, but nothing explicit. The things is, the letter of the law hasn't been breached. It isn't even in a grey area. Unfair DQ by the SC.

1) I'm currently single
2) I am not performing a sex act....most young children would not even think this. Kids put their hands in places all the time just fidgeting and might think that was happening here.
3)I am not fantasizing - this was a joke
4)a liitle blood and gore desensitizes our children to violoence....sex is an act of love so yes, rather she saw this than blood and gore

They both have their hands down their pants, in a clear state of partial undress, and are holding sexually suggestive photographs. How much more explicit does it have to be? |

quoting posthumos on another thread:
An innocent child (if such exists) would look at either picture and snicker over seeing someone in his/her underwear. That is all. There is no explicit sex act going on in either picture. These pictures are only as dirty as you are. |

anyone who thinks that a woman is masturbating over the cheese pic takes life entirely too seriously.

A1275 - Laurie has a private issue with me ...please do not attack her. She is simply releasing her dislike for me and I am fine with that.
Laurie - please feel free to pm me whatever you feel necessary to release your anger towards me. I can handle it. I would rather not use a public forum to air greivances.

Given that you've only recently announced your separation in the forum threads, I find it hard to believe that you obtained an official and final divorce so quickly. Your marriage status is really none of my business, so let's just let that one go for now.
I don't seriously believe for one second that you were "just fidgeting."
While you may have intended this as a joke, I personally do not find it funny, at all. I did not request the DQ, but support it whole-heartedly.
If sex "as an act of love" is what you were intending, rather than a joke (you really can't have it both ways, you know), why on Earth would you prefer your kids watching you do it? |

We do not have any personal issues, given that we do not have a personal relationship.
I'm not angry at all -- just representing the other side of the story. Obviously, someone else was offended by the image, hence the DQ. |

I don't think this should be DQed. I like that entry.

Of course. It's a cold time of the year, right.
There is next to nothing sexual about this picture. There is the merest hint at it, which creates the humour value. Anything further, as has been previously stated, is created by the mind of the viewers - you jolly naughty-minded deviants, you.

Ok but some people might not have that opinion about sex. There are people who view sex and love as being mutually exclusive. Others may consider sex to include dare I say blood and gore. Should those that have a more edgy or perverse take on sex be allowed to post their photos? If your answer to that is well we should censor stuff that is too vulgar than I think you are being a hypocrite (but a nice one). :)
Btw, I'm just trying to play devil's advocate here. |

I thought the shot was funny. I can also understand TOS on showing sexual acts, but if the following photos from previous challenges do not cross the line, what pushes Shutterpug's photo across the line?

Yeah, it sure seems like the rule doesn't get applied every time, which seems to be a problem in general. |

Indeed your interpretation might be valid......just as in this instance someone could be scratching themselves.
The second photo posted by oly is a little odd...he's have to have a 3ft long hoohoo in order for that photo to be representing sex. |
In the case at hand, one could argue that the fingers would also need to be rather lenghty.
This is by no means to be construed as an attack on the SC. Rather, the issue at hand from my perspective is the seemingly inconsistent application of the rules. I for one have no problems at all with rules, its just that I like to see them applied evenly.

So if these other shots were DQ'd now, the two DQ's that happened tonight wouldn't be an issue for anyone? Just curious. If that's the case, let's go back and DQ those ones, too.
