Wheeeeeee! OK, I know I post a lot and you probably wish I'd just shut up sometimes, but this was really kind of neat for me so I had to share. It's not a huge, earth-shattering deal, but I'll take it!!
I got an email today that says:
Please get in touch with me as soon as possible. I would like to put one of your Dallas skylines on the cover of the Heart of Dallas Phone Book. We would give you a free ad under the heading of Photographers and give you recognition and a write-up about the cover. Will you give me a call at (phone number)?

Since I don't even do this for a living, and it won't do me much good at all to have an ad, I guess I can just let them use the picture and put a little write-up about it in the book. Anyway, I thought it was cool!!!

Congratulations Laurie! Perhaps you should ask for a little money, since you don't need an ad. I'm sure, for what they charge for yellow page ads, they can afford it.
