Bet you can guess what's coming!!!
We've had pets, flower macros, children, fireworks,
we have a new guest to add to our list!
I'll bet everyone who took a picture of the moon is kicking themselves today! |

Yup...too many moons lol
I do wish people would THINK about their title a bit more.
The title is a important part of the photo and the titles that are like
My bestfriend dressed in red right before we left for a night on the town to look for something round drive me CRAZY :D

Do you think I'd get away with posting one of the above for 'Trend' and claiming I was just following a trend? |

I use titles from all parts of the verbal spectrum. How would you have titled this one? |

How about "Eat lead _______ (fill in name of current 'enemy' here)"?
Stick a Stars & Stripes in there somewhere and you'd have become a living legend! ;) |

There was bound to be lots of moon pics with a round challenge at the time of full moon.
I nearly took one of the moon myself but i`ve done it before for the landscape challege. The full moon is quite differcult to photograph well because it`s so bright with little contrast.

Okay, if not the moon (the single most prominent object in our night sky that happened to be round during the challenge), marbles (toys many with children would have), balls of different sorts (a fairly common thing to have lying about), or eyes (something everyone I've ever met has) what WOULD you prefer people shoot for a ROUND challenge.
In one forum you'll find people kvetching about the fact that imaginative entries are historically scored low by dpc voters, then you come to this one and find people kvetching about what could be termed a "lack of imagination."
Um....make up your mind folks. Do you want to see imaginative photos that might stretch the literal interpretation of a challenge? If so, score them higher and stop looking for reasons to put "doesn't fit the challenge" in the comment section. If you want only literal interpretations of challenges, stop kvetching when you have to vote on ROUND objects in a ROUND challenge.
I now return you to your regularly scheduled kvetch session.

Ditto: I went more with the "roundness" part of the description and was that ever a mistake.

Just a reminder the challenge rules do not in any way forbid us from submitting pictures of the items you have on your list so how do you think you can forbid someone from submitting pictures of those items?
I agree variety is the best way to go. I did not get tired of the moon.
There are worse picture's on this site than the ones on your list.
With all the people here there's bound to be different taste so it seems to me we have be understanding of each others taste. Just my opinion. Happy shooting.

As Jacko said earlier, these threads are as 'cliche' as the photos you bring up. My question to you is simply WHY you even bother to post this and what purpose is it serving?

*Sigh* people...
much earlier in this thread, Jacko said:

And I responded with 'Ouch, touche!'
Any grumbling about my grumbling from you guys after that shows you all have too much time on your hands. Get over it! |
