Taken through the eyepiece of my 8" reflector telescope. Yes it is upside down and back to front, but i didn`t turn it around because i think it looked better as it is. And yes i know it`s been done a million times before but it`s the best landscape i know of.

This is pretty cool, but I had to give you a 9 instead of a 10 because I couldn't find the American flag the astronauts left up there. Maybe it was on the dark side of the moon this day! I can't explain why, but the white portion of the border is a little over bearing. Maybe a thin white border with a thicker black border would give it more balance.

I don't know how I can fault this. Too bad you couldn't actually take the photo from the surface of the moon! 9 -Annida

I think the square framing works well with this shot. Excellent capture of the detail, and I like that the moon is in the bottom of the frame with the "shadow" at the top. I think that makes for a strong composition.

I love it when someone gets a great moon shot.

Very clear and sharp. I assume this was with a telescope. Do you have some sort of adapter or does it just fit your camera?

Very nice detail on the moon. B&W is great. I think the frame is too much. Great picture! Good luck!

Excellent capture of the lunar landscape, good sharpening, I would have framed it differently - too stark with the B&W frame. Just my tastes...

Such detail! Your photo blows my mind. I think your choice of border really enhances this already stunning photo. Incredible.

These are not easy shots to capture. Some might question whether this is a landscape or not, but personally I think it fits just fine. Only knock is that it's a bit blown out in the lower left. All in all an excellent photo though. 9 md

Great shot of the moon, I just love the detail you were able to pick up! You must have some setup to get such a close view. Perfect phase of the moon to take a pic too. Framing was real good and I even liked the border in this case. 9.

very nice moonshot. i like the texture created where the light hits the craters at a 90 degree angle and creates the shadows. excellent exposure and focus. nice choice of framing the dark side out of the picture. 10

Excellent moon shot. A few blown out areas maybe but the area that fades from light to dark is really cool.

Whoa. I need a setup that can do this. Great detail in the craters at the top. Good exposure & focus. I'm not keen on the white part of the border, it's too big & overpowering. I would also have left more black space in shot so that the moon wasn't centred. Still, nice work.
