Tower Bridge without question, IMO. Or possibly Big Ben... Arguably the Queen :-)

This one is called "The Pearl" in English. Probably the the closest thing coming to a landmark in Iceland.

I love the thought of the Queen as a landmark! She's only little (about 5ft 2)!

Big Ben is part of the Houses of Parliament (or the Palace of Westminster as it should be called)

Could you please find out how to post thumbnails! :)))

It certainly is :-) But the "recognizable" part is the tower witht he clock, on a world-wide scale. Show 100 people alex's picture and ask them what they are seeing, and I bet 90% of those who have a clue, will say "Big Ben" rather than "Houses of Parliament" :-)

THIS, in my opinion, is one of the most popular landmarks in my town. The town itself doesn't really have a single most popular landmark.

In fact, Big Ben is the largest of the bells inside the clock tower ;) It was cast at a bell foundry at the end of my road, which is the oldest manufacturing company in the UK (the Whitechapel Bell Foundry). It also cast the Liberty Bell, now in Philadelphia and still casts bells.

I'd add the Pennybacker Bridge to these...

Took them this morning. It was cold but beautiful clear sky.

That's funny - never heard the bridge called that. I always called it "the 360 bridge."
