I'm askin this cuz I value opinions of the travelers here.
If you could live in one of these countries for 4-5 months which one do you find more photogenic or have more richness in photo ops (not takin photos of things everyone else has)? I know there are great opportunities everywhere and you can't really go wrong...but if you had to pick, which one?
btw im askin cuz i might be livin in one of these places next fall. |

that is a hard choice, I have been to most of those places and would make my decision depending on the time of year you would be going.
if it is summer I would go to Sweden and in the winter of fall I would go to Scotland now the spring is a real toss up because they are both so beautiful in the spring.
that is my view on the matter, chose wisely.
Good luck

Even the most manly of men would eventually get tired of photographing Scandinavian women for months... so I'd at least look to see what other scenery that Sweden offers...especially since it seems to be where you're being told to go anyway. ;)
I'd got to Scotland myself, because it's such an incredibly beautiful place.

I'd go with Sweden simply because it's a lovely, lovely place, and because it offers MUCH easier access to mainland Europe for short jaunts. Scotland is spectacular in a harsh, barren sort of way, but it's so... insular... ya know? jejeje™

| I would say Scotland, but perhaps because I lived in Stockholm for 6 years so I have been there, done that and scotland somehow appeals to me more even though I have never been there. Some people have told me it´s pretty similar to Iceland in terms of the landscape so I defnilately want to visit some day to check it out. Sweden is nice though, I love the roads, it´s very easy to drive around and the traffic culture is good, very few assholes on the road so it´s great if you have a car at your disposal to get around. If you do go to Sweden I would suggest you venture into the north, like Lappland, it widely untouched nature and should appeal to most landscape photographers. |
