This is the road I live on. The house sits 1/4 mile off the road, so you can't see it. Home is where your car gets stuck in the snow!

Mad, how'd you get the sky those colors? Did you use a filter? Don't you just HATE phone lines?

I used my circular polarizer filter, and I also used a Curves and Hue/Saturation layer with a gradiated mask.
I think the powerlines helped this shot actually.. it would have looked boring with nothing but the horizon and the clouds IMO.

seems like you need some more powerful light there Melissa. I mean ambient, not on camera flash. I like the composiion on the first one. You need a portfolio so I can comment there instead :o)
