Wanted to say that I am pleased with the result of my "What" entry. Some folks are saying it should have done better, but I didn't expect it to have mass appeal. I wanted to say thanks for all the kind words and share a few outtakes.

Wow, I saw this one and actually did say "WHAT?" Very nice. Thanks for the link, might try it.

This is one of those rare pictures where when I look at it again, or later, its reveals something just a bit different. Never see the same stuff twice with this one.

I met Steadman a year or so back and he did a Characature of me in the inner cover of one of his books. I was soooo siked. My silly mug, a la Steadman.

....with a nice large ink splatter, right across the bottom.

BTW....I kinda look, a little like the Lounge Lizard from Fear and Loathing....or so I've been told. So I got that going for me....

holy crap! you are so lucky! i'd love to see it.

He always "signs" his books with a drawing. I have a few doodled on things but unfortunately I never got anything signed in person.

Here she goes. I put it in a nice custom book frame.

He mispelled my name but what the heck. He was super cool and we spoke for like twenty minutes just before he had a an Exhibit Opening/Book Signing.

He told me a story or two about HST and the book The Curse Of Lono where he had some great color illustrations.

I love "Ripped" - these are all awesome, though.
