I would like to thank everyone for the their generous votes, the favorites, the wish list requests on my Wide Angle entry.

Times Square, 2005


I've recieved an outpouring of PM's regarding post processing questions, congrats and all kinds of kind words. I really appreciate....the appreciation. No ribbon but I'll take my 4th place and run, given the stiff competition. It was a great Challenge to be involved in. Cheers to all.

Post processing wasn't a big deal. A little Burning here and there and the use of a Warming Filter(85), on top of the original with some Selective Color play, to bring out what got buried in the "warming". Also the usual contrast, saturation, usm and curves additions.

Here are some out takes(without the Fisheye, taken on a rainy evening earlier in the week)...

It's a really fine shot, Steve. The only thing keeping it from ribboning was too many fine shots in this challenge :-) That's a ribbon score in nearly any challenge this year except WA...
