"Times Square in the Rain"

The streets glisten, from the fallen rain.
The city lights, entice to entertain.
People scurry and hurry, umbrellas in hand.
Their drenched spirits, cannot ruin what they've planned.
Standing on a corner, a group is gathered.
Determined to have fun, no matter the weather.
With so many options of pleasures gain.
There is nothing like, Times Square, in the rain.

Man! I was there a few days later all the way from Australia. I think we were there on the 22nd of October...I love your NYC shots

Oh this is awesome! It reminds me of a modern, contrasted version of those dreamy, old-timey wall-prints of the ladies in long gowns walking the streets of Paris with horse carriages in the rain :) Great job!

At first glance I thought the contrast looked a little low (in the foreground), but after further examination, I don't think this image would work if the contrast was higher. I really like the tilted perspective and composition. Very urban... Very nice!!!

i like this outtake the best, because the saturated reds cry of another era. reminds me of the stylized version of Paris in the early 20th. I like it.
