This was the photo I took for the Egg challenge awhile back. It was pretty flat with a murky background in that challenge. I photoshopped in a new background. What do you think?

| I like the original better. The blue/cloudy background seems to make it feel like an outdoor shot to me, and the shadow on the 'sky' seems a little odd... |

I have to confess I also like the original better, but for different reasons. I quite like images that are "tone in tone" and the new blue background just breaks that. I do like about the new one how you have lightened the egg a bit and emphasized the shadow more ... maybe doing that on the original?
Forgot to add ... good work on adding the background ... I never would've known if you hadn't told us.

I'd maybe like to see the original retaken and less underexposed with correct white balance ?

me too. i think the background on the white one is underlit and sorta dull /bland :)
