I seriously cant believe it. Not only am I published they put in 4 of my photos. :) It is for a community newspaper. I got FRONT COVER!. I am very ampted :) hehhehe

October is going to be a huge month for me, first this, then i am shooting a big soccer game. I have entered an amateur comp (hopefully I will come somewhere) and I am also entering an exhibition. I feel good things happenin :)

WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO hats off to you. and well done but you shouldn't be so surprised your a great photographer, no wonder they chose 4 i bet they couldn't decide what one to use so went with them all... they will be back for more too wait and see.

Hey Lisa! That's really great! You must be very proud. How did you go about submitting to the local paper? Did you write the article as well or did someone else do that?

I wrote it as well. My uncle was surfing in it, so i got permission through him to take the photos and because it was a fund raising event I thought that the paper might publish it because of it raising money for the local hospital. I just wrote to them to see if they would be interested in seeing the photos and they said sure but they couldnt promise anything. Well... they more than delivered. :)
