Yeah, in a way he did! This man and his wife are former clients of mine from the pet sitting business. They love cats, just love them and take care of as many as they can. So he has a mamma cat with kittens who are about 8 weeks old and pretty much weaned. He needs help finding homes for them so he called me. I went over and being the super nice person I am I ended up bringing them home with me so they could be socialized. And he paid me to help with the food and litter costs and a little bit extra! :)

Here some of the shots I got, they were HELL to catch, I got the scratches to prove it.

hey Mav

What was the name of the software you used for albums? I wrote it down but now I can't find it.

Thank you!

I found the original thread here while searching for grunge effects: Grunge Download Question

Which lead me to this site:

ATN Central

Where I spent several hours last night looking through, downloading and playing with the different actions they have for Photoshop. Some are automatic, some you have some control over the amount of the effect you get, all are GREAT!

Deannda
And I already have my copy of Lumapix Fotofusion, regular, not ready to go pro quite yet :)

So how long can we keep this thread going?

Well, I can do my part, put up some more pictures, now keep in mind, I didn't hang around the waterfalls that much, I was usually off looking in the woods and around the buildings and off the beaten path sort of thing. LOL!

It's one of the ATN's that I downloaded. I'm still playing with just how much I want to use there, there are two, one that automaticall darkens an area and another that you can finish the darkening. I'm really leaning towards the first one right now simply because it gives me some more control at least until I learn to do these by myself. I'm starting to go through some old pictures that I'm going to play with. I have a bunch that just aren't quite where I want them and this might help! :)

Me, too! (And at the rate I get my post processing done, we could stretch this out several months!)

You people need Picasa. It's great for quick edits. It does all common things you need with just few clicks. I do advanced editing only on few photos.

//picasa.google.com/index.html
I'm sure you know that it is FREE!

Thanks, Nik! But I have to solve the problem of my over-stuffed hard-drive before I can download anything. ...and...I'm a perfectionist, so quick editing is an advanced skill for me! ;-)

Hey, you never told me how it went in Watkins. How'd you like the gorge? Did you hit any of the other waterfalls?

Did you get to any lighthouses on Lake Ontario?

I hope you get out this way again. If you do, be sure to let us know!
