I'm just wondering, what are motion trails?

Motion trails are the blurs created by a moving object. These trails are created by the motion of the object while the shutter is open...

that would be any streaking or bluring caused by movement of the object you are photographing

oh, so its like a blur, shoot, i had a really good picture, but the arms are blurred on it.....

True, but I liked that picture. That particular looks cooler with rather than without the blur! Otherwise it would just like you were sitting there bored, waiting for the driver to come back!

It's up to you, even if you wanted to submit something that still had some motion trails. I had some shots that had some motion trails and some parts that were 'stopped' and I think that would still fit into the challenge.
