Hmm...well here I am an hour and forty five minutes later and I just realized I don't have a clue how to work in PS. Not even the slightest inkling. I see all kinds of things I know what they are but I will be damned if I can get them to work as I know they should.
On the bright side though, in my frustration I think I figured out how to do grunge in PI. So off to try that now. |

| Well after following the basics of the tutorial posted by dahkota in the other grunge thread, I was able to produce some great stuff. One problem though - the images I used for grunge. Great stuff only in the sense that I now have a grasp on how to produce the effect, but realize the images you use for the actual grunge effect are more important than I first thought. Just any old image that has lots of texture or shape or whatever doesn't work except to practice with. So now I am trolling through all my images to find good 'grunge' ones. Just what I needed...another new image folder. |
