It's my first. I made it to give an old time school book illustration look to some pictures.
Here's some examples:

So far, I can only apply it to a layer and then I have to adjust from there. I've never worked on making something like this before. Any suggestions on things to improve the look?

I agree with the quote of the chosen subjects! To me the best one is with the cows. But, the effect you're obviously looking for is working....I can see what you are trying to achieve! Well done!

I love the effect, I would seriously like to know how to do this, or preferably would just like the filter!

I'd like to try it as well. Love what it does for the cows.

Works well for the first and last picture.. The Cows look a little too much embossed. But then again may be that one is near to the cut book effect.

Try something in just a few colors and it will let you see the difference.

Next before you knwo you would be making pictures for kids books... :-)
Good job!!

Thanks everyone.
It's a user defined filter I did in psp. If you have psp I might be able to copy it for whoever is interested, as soon as I find out how to do that (if anyone knows how let me know) I'll pass it along.

Those are really cool. I really like the first 2. If you find out how to make it work for Digital Image Pro, let me know - LOL! Nice work.

Love that filter. Would definitely like to get a copy of it if you care to share.
