Rocky Horror Picture Show

Love it or think it's stupid?

love, love, love it!

Great scott, hell on wheels....Loved it of course !!!

...but I do have to admit, it is a much more appreciated experience to see it, or at least to have seen it in a real theatre. I can see where people that have only rented, or watched on cable at home might not fully understand or appreciate what it is all 'about'.

It's one of those things that's so dumb you like it. Like Monty Python. or Jim Carrey.

Cheers

I either love to hate it or hate to love it - I can't decide which. ;-)Only saw it once when it first came out and never really got "into it" like so many.

it's just not the same if you're not being hit in the head by rice, water, or a frankfurter, while sitting beside a transvestite or 10.

hm, let's see. i have seen it so many times that i can practically repeat it word for word (at least for the first half hour or so), i go see a production of it every year, can do the time warp (and have onstage, which is scary) and think tim curry is a god. (ok well, was, and home alone did him no favors, but he still gets mad props for RHPC.) i guess that means i like it. :)

Love it, but only in a theatre. Heck, I was listening to the soundtrack just yesterday, weird that you bring up the topic today.

I've seen it around 50+ times when I was younger.

Love it.

Seen it, heard it and done it.

A remake with modern graphics will blow your mind.

Maybe you just didn't have the right experience with it the first time...you gotta go with a group, and you have to go with people who have seen it/experienced it before...and you have to be prepared with all the proper materials (newspaper, toilet paper, etc.). It's a heck of a lot of fun...I hope you'll give it a second chance! :)

Seriously Ron - go see it at a midnight showing in some old Theatre in Detroit. It'll make way more sense then. The movie itself is really just a quirky B-movie that took on a life unto itself.

Absolutely DESPISED it! Went thru the whole film continually asking myself "Why the @#$% am I still watching this?"

(of course I rented it on videotape to see what all the hubbub was about)

Gotta see it in a theater, it's all about a certain, shall we say, "culture" that surrounds it. An experience that's not to be missed. Seen it maybe 30 times myself, but not in like 20 years or so.

Robt.
