Rite of Passage

Maybe I've been looking at too many pictures by Robert Mapplethorpe, but did anyone else think the 'Rite of Passage' picture was very overtly sexual in nature ?

I wonder if Doug even meant it to be that way, but it was striking when I looked at it. I wonder if that says more about me than Doug ? :)

Thoughts/ comments ?

I can see where you would think that but I was actually aiming at more of a "Story of Life" mood. I really want to do it over as I love the photos but don't like how I put the Tryptich together at all including the size of photos and the border. Thanks for the input though!!

Its the boudoir colour scheme, the wide open, inviting, urm, side panels, the central flower, the title...

Interesting to know that none of it was intentional or conscious.

The shot that I thought was somewhat erotic was this shot:

It was one of my favorite images from the Flora challenge.

"The Boldt Family" was quite graphic in a sexual nature. LOL! That shot amused me beyond belief.

Did you remember to flag it for nudity?
