You know, I had been eyeing all of these mushrooms that seemed to be growing around here lately (with all the rain in VA) just prior to the Fantasy Challenge. And unfortunately for me, they'd all disappeared before I had a chance to shoot them for the Fantasy Challenge. :*-(
I'm sure they probably would have been a much more interesting and higher scoring image than the one I actually submitted (currently just under 5.0). DRATS!
BTW: The shots of the Badlands and the Inferno are really cool! They both would have scored highly with me.

Badlands is AWESOME. The yellowstone one, is okay, but doesn't feel like a fantasy world as much, and isn't as wow! of a picture as Badlands. |

| I was taking photos of spoons and coins for metal before I decided to take a completely different route ... Don't have any outtakes, because they were so BAD! - I deleted them. :) |

Here's one I shot yesterday for Metal. If my entry doesn't do well I may regret my choice. What score would have given this one?

Couldn't get what I wanted with basic editing on this - busy background no matter what angle. Pretty cool nonetheless (IMO). ;^)

Hey - I saw that in your portfolio the other day (yesterday I think). Very cool photo! Might have been hit a bit by the flower bashers and the "image too small" seekers, but would have done pretty well IMO. Hope your current one is 5.5 or better because this one would have beat it. ;^)
