I tried not just to get a dark photo, but a dark atmosphere.

This challenge is made for Joey. You know the one I mean.

I'm putting in a bet that he'd finish in the top ten. The first one to take this up, if I lose, gets a DPC print of his or her choice on me. If I win, I get a print of my choice on him or her.

Small print:
Offer null and void if Joey doesn't enter.

Here are a couple of night pics I took recently, nice but not good enough to ribbon, even if I had taken them in the right period...

This isn't mine. I remembered it from the "dreams and nightmares" challenge. I think it fits this challenge well, and it isn't a "dark" photo tonewise.
Just wanted to get that in. The physical properties do not have to be dark to have a photo that shows "darkness".
Thanks. maybe this is the wrong thread to post in? I think I'll find the right thread and post this there.

This is the type of image that springs to mine. I hope that is not a spoiler for anyone but this image is probably my all-time favourite photograph here by certainly my all-time favourite photographer.
