I found a place that's selling a Pentax isd DS DSLR, with a Pentax 18-55mm Zoom & Quantaray 70-300mm Zoom, for $899.99. yea? or nay?

Depends on the place. Some internet places offer a low price but don't have the product in stock if you don't buy their expensive warranties and stuff.

Or it may be "graymarket" and the warranty void in USA.

Sounds like the Ritz ad. I look at it then decided against it when I figured the cost of having to get another whole set of media cards. Apparently the pentax uses SD cards, not CF.

yeah it's the Ritz ad... looks like a good deal to me but I wanted some more experienced opinions.

I had the Quantary 70-300mm (for two days and returned it)... Totally worthless lens, at least for me...Soft and loss of detail on the long end... Opt out of that lens while you have a chance...

not sure if I can opt out, but I can get the Pentax version for an extra $100. besides, it's a freebie.... sort of, so I don't expect much out of it. The lens that is. the camera itself looks great. a little worried about it's durability in light of it's light weight construction though.

BTW. Ritz was one of the sites I was talking about. I tried them twice and twice they had the product in stock when I ordered. On the second order, I called and even waited 10 minutes for the guy to confirm it was in stock. Sure nuff, a day letter I got the famous email telling me I had to call to confirm my credit card. They tried to sell me more stuff. I said no. Then I was told the item was no longer in stock and I'd have to wait for it to be back in stock. I learned it's better to order from B&H and get a fair deal up front and no delays or games.
