Well mostly for Drew, but I've finished editing my Australia trip pictures and would love some comments:

Four galleries, starting here.

Thanks for taking the time to look.

Great photos Gordon, really enjoyed the wedding shots, but I sure hope you're going to offer "Grapes on the Vine" for sale. I LOVE that shot!

Wow, all of those galleries were great. Thank you very much for putting those up!! I have too many favorites to list them all, but I definitely enjoyed the Great Ocean Road series as well as the wedding series. The wedding series inspires me to want to be a better photographer. I don't think we visited any of the same places, but I guess that's to be expected. Interestingly enough, though, a few months back, I did a website for a band out of Australia called Ether -- and their new album was called 'Great Ocean Road'... so now it all comes full circle for me. Glad to have you back :)

Gordon - I live in Melbourne and you have done the area justice. There are some good photo's in there.

Unfortunatly I did see a king brown up close and personal - was too busy moving quickly out of the way to take pictures though!

My family used to drive down to Melbourne from our little town in NSW a lot when I was a kid because my father's family live there. We drove along the Great Ocean Road quite a few times. It's great to see such beautiful photos of it :).

Haha, you saw a koala in the wild, and what was it doing? Sleeping!! Lazy buggers.

When I was about 14 we went camping in this place called Bellingen, which is on a river that has quite a large island in it. Masses of flying foxes roost there during the day. I went for a walk on the island all by myself on the last day we were there. I saw some really pretty birds pecking around in the grass, and tried to sneak up closer to them very quietly. Suddenly, less than a metre to my right, a red-bellied black snake panicked and slithered very quickly AWAY from me through the long grass. Thankfully it decided to run and not bite!!

I know now never to walk quietly in the bush. Always stamp your feet and whistle :).

Fantastic shots of the Great Ocean Road! I went there last summer and totally fell in love with the place. You really captured the awe of the place!

wow. great photos. i looked at them all except the wedding photos, i have an aversion to snooping at people private photos. They made me want to visit Australia, actually I always have. You have tons of great photos. Keep up the good work, and traveling.
