Personally, I woulnd't change anything about the first one. The second one came up after I posted... IMO, the composition is slightly too tight on the second.

I think you should have found a more artistic looking window, like wooden frame or something and the little book or whatever it is in the lower right hand corner is distracting and maybe the contrast between the subject and the harsh light is just a little to high.

I like the composition.

PS: Sans the pants and I never would have noticed all that other stuff.
