Went into Manhattan on the day after Thanksgiving. I came up with some shots that I'd like feedback on. I had a go at some different subjects and ideas so have a look. All feedback is appreciated.

The soft effect on this shot was obtained by a little bit of Gaussian Blur but also a new trick that i found out works; Fill Flash.

This last one was extemely difficult to get. I had to run from the Battery with all my camera equiptment basically to the Brooklyn Bridge as I caught sight of the full moon rising. The metering was hard and I ended up with this.

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.

Lee

P.S. Sorry for starting yet another critique thread but i don't do this very often --- thanks!

Lee. I like your moon shot. Have you heard the story about Galen Rowell chasing rainbows? Only a few photographers have the ambition and determination to chase their visions like that. Keep it up and you're bound to be successful.

don't you just love having those days where you can do nothing but shoot to make yourself happy? not shooting under challenge pressure or anything else...looks like you had a ball, not to mention covering a lot of territory! liked them all!

doesnt it stink when you run that far, only for you to miss the shot, and your friend to get it? haha, nice shots, you've already heard my input on them

I didn't go to the city, but I did get a nice shot of the moon from my backyard.
