I looked at the top 10 and I received the harshest votes on my image out of all the others.

I would like to receive feedback if possible, I’m wondering was it the raindrops on the lens that detracted from the image, or was it the cropped trees? Or was it just boring? Just curious?

FYI yesterday it was in ribbon territory.

I gave 8 and the uninspired comment “very nice”
I particularly liked the rain drops that looked like Christmas ornaments in their early childhood phase
So, sorry, nothing to dislike.

I gave it a 6 and found it an interesting and above average photo. The B&W works well with good tonality. The "water drop out of focus spots" were a bit of a distraction.

I gave it a 6. I didn't like the water drops (and dinged for them), and thought the jogger could be sharper, but loved the "feel" of it and the "moment".

10 from me

The picture and tone are good. The raindrops on the other hand take it down, when I know you did it on purpose it works as an effect, but when I don't it looks like you are sitting in a car, snapping out of the window and that removes the effort value. Then this one of those images you need to stop, enjoy and let sink in, I'm pretty sure the speed voter on their phones never even saw the jogger.

Thank you for all the wonderful comments, and most of them were pretty positive, but it’s the threes and fours I want to hear from.

But then again I’m not too fussed, I get over things pretty quickly, it’s just the initial reaction of looking at the spread of votes that sparks my interest.

Can't help you with the 3 and 4s ... it was a 8 from me too ....
I particularly liked the scale of the human against the trees/nature.
Thought the drops added ... more like sadness/triste
