It was a 9 from me, too, and I only had one 10. Love the composition and tonal range - impact did it for me. Sorry, no help :) |

I gave it a nine, it made me say "wow". But I wonder if people are put off by the vertical white space. Having the very dark, and then the really bright white in columns actually pulls the eye up and out of the photo. So it actually is a little uncomfortable. At first glance, I didn't like that composition. But I actually think it's one of the strengths. You are forced to look back and explore it more.
I think this would be quite spectacular printed very large. |
