wasnt sure where to ask this question ..

"This week, your entry should be a rejected poster from a real movie, or a poster from movie that was rejected."

so if we do a rejected poster from a real movie .. does the image have to have an error in it .. like the wording .. or a cat instead of a dog for example .. or can it just be something that might have been rejected by the movie ppl because they decided on something better ..

i understand about a poster from a movie that was rejected ..

looking forward for clarification .. xx

Personally, I would say it could be any of the things you mentioned. Especially if it is a movie with an iconic poster, like Jaws for example. Even a poster with no obvious flaws could work, as long as it is not trying to imitate the original. Then again, DPC voters often have a much more literal interpretation of the challenges than I do.

Totally.

Since there are already entries in for this challenge it’s time to figure it out on your own. Good question, but would be better a little farther out from rollover.

On second thought … nevermind. Have fun and discuss away. :)

I think it could go either way, anything mentioned below, it just has to be pretty obvious that this poster wouldn't be "right" for the movie.

that would just be "movie poster" ...

in my humble opinion.

As a voter, I'd take a poster from a rejected movie OR a rejected poster from an actual movie, but it should be obvious why it was rejected, IMO.

You can always reference the original challenge to see what worked and what didn't.

Having had my entry in for a long while, I'm rethinking my entry because of this discussion.

I'm not sure discussing what's "right" or "wrong" this far in is something I think should happen.

Will I change my entry? No.

Will I rethink my entry a billion times according to the discussion? Yes.

Ha!

Oh well...

May The Force be with us all.

(Or "The Farce" if that's a rejected movie poster)

;)
