I've noticed that the higher the average vote from users without the camera the better a picture does (with some exceptions of course); makes me a bit sad, but that's life :)

well thats all the more reason for folks to join the membership and the mebers only challenges... I think most or all members have cameras

looks like to me there are only two members without cameras. not quite enough to draw meanigfull conclusions. |

That is an interesting observation... i wonder why someone without a camera would become a paid member of this site?

Ummm, I don't want to start a fuss here... But are you all saying that only people that own cameras are capable of appreciating and judging good photography? I don't paint, but I enjoy a good painting... I'm not much of a musician, but I love music...
I'm not sure I see the relation.

Not that I disagree with you myqyl, but one would think that to pay $20 to become a member, is because one would want to participate with your own art. Non-members can critique in the members challenges.

Is it not also possible that people have simply not listed their camera? Not that I've noticed a shot that appears to be by someone without a camera though ...
