Anyone have pet photos that they want to share?

Meet "Potter"

Potter is my cat... I adopted him from the Humane Society in July, 2000. He was 11 weeks old when I got him and he is just over two years old now. This photo is not a great photo... It was one of the first photos I took after the batteries charged when I got my F707. The camera seems to frighten him and he gets nervous when I have it and point it at him. In this shot, he is sitting on a corner table looking out the window and not watching me...

I've posted a couple of entries featuring my dog, Chester. These are some better pictures of him. He is extremely hyper and I was lucky to get these shots. The boy in the second photo is my son, Mathew.

This is my dog, Pepper. She's a Cavalier King Charles spaniel. In that photo, she's wearing a doggie life jacket, because it was taken on my parents' sailboat.

Kimbly, Pepper is cute too :)

Pepper and Potter are adorable.

Yep, Chester is famous but he doesn't let it go to his head.

Potter is a pretty kitty!

Looks like Chester and Mathew are best buds. Love the Santa outfit! :) He's a beauty!

Pepper is a cutie, too! Too cool that she's a sailor! :)

You can see pics and read all about my pets (and a bit about me) on my website. The pets are toward the bottom of the page I've linked to. They are my pride and joy! :)

PS You might recognize the black Shetland Sheepdog from the "games" challenge. :)

I had hoped to avoid this, but since it was asked...

This photo is not my best work... But it's the last photo I've taken of Paco... It's original name can not be posted in a public forum, as I assume extreme profanity is discouraged... It has been renamed in the spirit of helping the viewer make the link to the story being told...

My I present :

"Yeah, I licked the lens... Of COURSE I licked the lens... I'm a dog... You stuck it in my face... What the heck did you THINK I was going to do?

It's been 5 years now and I MIGHT take another shot of him if the challenge demands it... But not with MY camera!

Alright, you asked for it...

In order of largest to smallest...

130 lb. French Mastiff, Beaujolais aka Beau
85 lb. Doberman Pinscher, Murgen aka Moron
Fat Orange Tabby, Dude aka ''Lil Bow Wow
Three legged Maine Coon, Tre Ben aka Biggie Smalls
Ball Python (as seen in DPChallenge!), Silent
Brazilian Rainbow Boa, Whisper
One of three Tiger Striped Monkey Tree frogs (as seen in DPChallenge!), Goblin, Gollum, or Grendel

Some poison dart frogs are coming soon and we also have a 50 gal aquarium with fish in it but I haven''t figured out how to take good pics of them yet :~}

I guess zoos are something you accumulate when you are engaged to be married to a veterinarian...

Chuck is a tough act to follow.

This site isn't ready to publish but have a look anyway.

I thought about submitting him to the Corporate Greed...I mean World challenge with the title Greedy Fat Cat.

My standard dachshunds: Zamboni (the beautiful, calm, somewhat conceited longhaired) and Dixie (the vivacious, perky, goofy wirehaired) will pose for any challenge. In fact, they''re pretty excited to see John''s started this thread!

They were watermelon boy''s first subjects when he took photography class in fourth grade last year. This is one of his shots.

crud. I can''t get the link to work.

Thanks for sharing, everyone!
Here are our pets: (let's see if I can import these correctly...)

Emily was here first. Here she is at Holloween. We adopted her from a shelter in May of 1999 at 8 weeks old for my daughter's 6th birthday.

Emily

Carlos and Devin came next - in January of this year. They were for my son, Karl's, birthday (also for his 6th). He loves dinosaurs, sooo...

Carlos

Devin

And, last but not least, our new puppy Max. I took this picture 2 days before the "upside down" challenge was announced! He was 11 weeks old.... Now is 5 months.

Max

So. Not the zoo that others have, but we're ready to sell tickets, too!

I don't have many pet photos (they never seem to cooperate, but there are several pics of my pets here):

The black dachsund is Softy, the red one is Mandy, and the cat is Sarah.
