All I know is that for this being my first challenge, I was expecting the worst. With my current stats I'm more then satisfied

It's not probably what most of you would like but I'll be happy if I can maintain this, started at 5 and still there.
But only 3 comments, I was hoping for more! Always helps to get feedback to improve. Guess, all in time!!!
I'm also testing a theory, if you post anything in this forum DOES YOUR AVERAGE VOTE GO DOWN? Hmmmm
Because that's what it seems to me from most of the entries.

Of course they do, Kylie.
How do you think we manage to take so many c**p photos, which we think are great? Then, we drown our sorrows as the photo sinks into oblivion by the end of the challenge.
But, that is life, just pass me another beer before I take a Night Shot II. |

For crying out loud we have a challenge topic.
Without a topic there would be no challenge... Duh.
The challenge fences you in, you're taking a picture in a box and challenged to think outside the box.
Creativity & originality in how one interprets the challenge is equal to skill.
When I look at a photo my first thought is how does this relate to the challenge.
Second thought is did the photographer get creative - think outside the box.
Lastly technically, is it a good photo.
I think my creativity far outweighs my skill, some people are just the opposite.
My challenge is to take a technically sound picture of my vision.
Someone else may be more challenged on the creative end.
I don't care how good your cell phone photo is (imo) it failed on 2 out of 3 levels.
If your creativity in interpreting the topic is just too obscure & you get alot of "I don't get how it relates to the challenge" suck it up buddy... you missed the mark.
BTW: There are a lot of people out there that need to learn the difference between a power lines and telephone lines.
Hopefully you all are working so hard on the next challenge you won't have time to put your cameras down and stone me :-)
