| Good video. The "bunny" is a Snowshoe Hare, Lepus ameicanus. In a world of lynx, bobcats, mountain lions, coyotes, etc., snow avalanches are nothing to overcome. In winter, the coat is all white. They molt to a dark brown coat in summer. Mathematicly, this hare will have 2 or 3 litters per year, each of 1-6 young (average 3). |
