Question: Does everyone that selects to have an in-depth critique done actually get one or is it only for the top so many photos?

The Critique Club currently services about 90% of the requested critiques. We critique photos from the most recently 'completed' challenges. We are currently working on windows/doors and squares. There are 216 photos in the queue this week for critiques, so i would estimate, based on averages, that 180 of those will get critiques.

I would add to what John said, that the in-depth critiques are done by volunteers, time-permitting.

They are not a right and perk, but rather 'icing' on the cake. If you get one, you should count yourself fortunate but if you don't get one, sometimes that's just the way it goes.

Good luck!

Also they are randomly assigned. The people who do critiques get first priority, that's about 40 photos. After that it is the luck of the draw, not from the top down or the bottom up.
