Pretend that the total destruction of planet Earth is imminent. Nothing will remain. Collision with an asteroid or a large coronal mass ejection or some such thing. Anyway, Richard Branson what'shisname, formerly of Virgin Air, is funding the launch of a Time Capsule into space that will contain nothing but photographs. Your task is to submit one photograph, through this challenge, for consideration. Make it special. Make an autobiographical photograph that will make whoever finds it wish it were still possible to visit planet Earth.

| Expert Editing rather defeats the purpose of the challenge and the goal of the Branson project. It's about showing what's precious, to each of us, of the earth as it is, it seems to me... |

No, I don't think a common context is necessary. I'm pretty sure Prince is an alien, & I still appreciate his music to the best of my ability.

| Hmmm...DPCers LURVES them landscapes, and tosses ribbons at them at every opportunity. I doubt that that will change. My entry won't be a landscape, so it's doubtful that I'll enter. |
