ROFL.. The joke is that I actually like it here. :) I've lived worse places, far worse in fact. Better places too.
This place strikes a nice balance, I can do pretty much whatever I like, and no-one screws with me about it, but there isn't too much in the way of murders and random violent assaults (a few in the area, but not a daily thing). As surprising as it may seem, despite the troubles I have to deal with in this neighborhood, I feel comfortable and happy in this place. :D No matter what my income level may be today, I still don't feel entirely comfortable living in 'upscale' neighborhoods.

Who is that playing Wilson behind the black fence on camera 1? Kind of looks like you, maybe? You've got some pretty decent cameras; I'm jealous. |

Okay here we go...Cory and his somewhat crazy assortment of neighbours gets the blue; repo man and his charming family get the red and it's a tie between cow-patties-on-the-lawn and Mr tighty whities going for mail :-) |

Don't hand out the ribbons yet, you haven't heard about my crazy neighbors!
On one side, we have a neighbor who built this really cool outdoor activity center for his kids. He is always pleasant when I talk to him.
On another side we have a family that keeps their yard cut nicely, not too often, not too few. They clean up after their dog, and always put out attractive decorations for for halloween and christmas.
Then we have the neighbors who just moved in last year. A younger couple who put together a fantastic garden. Quiet people, but nice.
Across the street we have a few families with younger kids. I don't talk to them much, but they always wave when driving past.
Did I mention that everyone pitches in during the winter to help with snow removal and getting cars un-stuck?
What a bunch of craaaaazy neighbors! Do I win the blue now? |

Yep me. :)
That's a construction barrier, I'm conducting an experiment to see if I want to build a 6' brick wall there. I'm leaning towards yes. |

LOL... giantmike, my dear, it's quite clear that all your neighbours are Canadian :-)
@ jgirl57...hey, anything that gives a guy a reason to put a throbbing hunk o' machinery between his legs is excuse enough!! Around here we have snowmobiles in winter, dirt bikes in the spring, motorcycles in the summer and ATVS in the fall...and yep, guess what, if a guy happens to own at least one the above, rest assured he owns at least one of the others, too! And naturally he drives a pickup. Even the best redneck women partake in these activities just to keep their men happy :-)
