Hello all! These are a few from tonights wedding, and was just curious what y'all thought. I like the view from all the photographers. The mirror one was just an afterthought, and was curious about that one?

I love your shots! My favorite is #2, they both look like they have looked forward to this day and are thankful for each other. Nice capture. I'm not sure about the mirror one. I like the idea, but the framing is a bit distracting from the couple.

So do I...if this is representative of the lot, they'll be quite impressed. I also like the second one a lot...but the odd-framed mirror photo is quite nice as well. I look forward to seeing a few more if you post them. |

Hi Brian...I love shot 2 the most. The lighting and emotions right on .Just great!
Shot 1 is great too. Perfect B&W
Shot 3...the bride has a funny light catch in one eye and I don̢۪t care for the neon green background. Flowers are OOF but that̢۪s minor or intentional
Shot 4 the mirrors...very cool effect. The groom is a little red. I̢۪m guessing he̢۪s been drinking by then...and some distractions in the mirror but is a great next time shot

Thanks for the comments...thats just what I was hoping for. All the critique just makes the next one better. And I have shot almost 100 of em, and I am still learning something new everyday! I hope that I do keep learning everytime I shoot...or it would be boring! Thanks again!

1-3 are great. Not sure about 4. I think 3 would be my favorite if it werent't for the distracting reflection in her right eye. If you could correct that, I think that one is GREAT. |

I really didnt even see that reflection, and thats what makes this place too cool! Heres 2 more for tonight, and I am done! It was a long day already, and they always look better to me with a day or 2 under my belt.

Wow, I think the compositions and expressions are fantastic. I love the creativity in the last one. I only have a couple nit picks. The skin tone in the first image looks a little dark but the white of the dress is perfect. Using a tool like the shadow/highlight filter to lighten the skin tone just a bit would make it appear more natural to me. I also feel the same way with photo 3. The right side of the bride's face and eye could be brightened up just a bit. I also would tone down the bright green above her head. These are just small things and are subjective. For weddings and portraitures in general I prefer slightly brighter skin tones but not at the expense of good contrast either. Very well done. I'm sure the bride and groom are going to be very happy.

Only minor critic is the light on the left side of her face is blowing out part of her chin and the side of her face making the chin look sharper than it is and also to a lesser degree her nose. Don't know if the source photo has detail in that area that you can bring out to lessen the effect. Just a thought. |

This is fine work; they will be pleased, no doubt! With the mirror one, try just cropping in a bit closer, and adding a bit more blur to the mirror? Keep up the good work!

1 and 2 of the first set you posted are my favorites... I love the b/w one especially. The 3rd is also very good. Not sure about the mirror one. It's good and creative, but there is a lot that distracts my attention from the couple.
I really like the 2 additional photos you posted as well ... both poses are great.
Looking back again, I have to agree with Timj - the skin tones do look a bit unnatural and that might be accentuated against the white of her dress.
Great stuff and I look forward to seeing more of your work! |

I like the mood of the first one, just a shade dark on skin tones, but I am sure they will be really happy with the results. Second is a conventional wedding pose and well executed. I think there will be more requests once people see the results. Well Done. |

Beautiful shots, Brian. They are all so good that it's hard to pick a favorite, but I really like this one.
All of them are really good, though. They are going to be so happy.
