Maybe a local camera shop will take it as a part exchange for the lens(es)?

THE F717's a decent camera. I'm curious what price you're asking for.

Did you try making up some flyers to put on the bulletin boards in the supermarkets and convenience stores around your town? Sometimes that works. :o) |

I love my 717, and the extra flash you have with it is a must have.
Anyone looking for a nice camera with good manual controls, without spending a lot for the dslr...I like this one the best. I looked at the 828, but I honestly like the image quality of the 717 better.
I just wanted to say I think it's a great camera, in case someone is interested. |

I still have my F717 and it's my backup camera even though I never use it anymore. I must say that it is an excellent camera that also has full manual, battery lasts forever and it has a real time preview. Then there's my favorite feature, the swivel. If someone makes a swivel DSLR I'd buy it! Good luck selling your F717 as I might also sell mine soon. Free bump!

If you've never seen the F505/707/717, then it's hard to describe other than the fact that the lens swivels/pivots independently of the LCD/body.
Take a look here for photos: //www.dpreview.com/reviews/sonydscf717/page3.asp

OK...listen to me folks...
Someone go ahead and buy this camera...I've been hearing whining and complaining for way too long about it on DpcFanatics and I've had it up to my dSLR already! So someone out there, be a pal!

My cousin has the F717 and might be interested in the flash only. Would you be willing to sell that separately?
