You and I shall be in a heated race to hit victorious 5.0 by the end! (maybe)

I think the sheer subjective interpretation of this challenge is going to make it a difficult one to vote one. There doesn't seem to the a real consensus as to what the challenge is about -- hence the huge spectrum of submissions.

I've tried to be very open-minded with my voting.

From my understanding "very Limited at that" the definition is " Finding the beauty in the Flaw. Like a coup that is not perfect, but somehow that makes it beautiful. Or uneven boards on a bulding that draws your attention to it.

Another example, there is beauty in DNMCs - they make the score charts look much more interesting!

Its more about finding beauty in poverty, in austere things. And poverty not in the sense of poor, but in the sense of not needing or wanting material things. It is not simply about beauty in imperfection or old and rustic.

It's like understanding the beauty in stone steps worn by a thousand footsteps.

Or a hermit who is otherwise happy, serene, whole and wise, and has no need of material things.

Or simple a cup of tea, perfect in itself, temporal in nature, fleeting. Or a bloom, alive or dead.

Which in essence is why the concept lends itself to a broad range of subjects.

Funny how everyone is still desperately trying to push their idea of the concept in the hope it will somehow on the off-chance influence voters to discover and recognize this in their respective entries.

Wow --- my score has dropped .1 to .2 points today.

Again, this challenge was difficult, because I didn't shoot for Beauty - I shot for Beauty in Imperfection (Wabi Sabi). I think I would have chosen an alternate image if going for 'everyday beauty'. Hmmm.
