Haha, that's a little too sophisticated!

However, I did like the Harius Potter et Philosophi Lapis

Gyaban is most likely sitting in his evil PhotoShop hideout thinking,
"I will show them the gentle stranger, " and thinking, "I bet it is pronounced 'Bare Moo-zeek'"

It was very cool hearing everybody and the various accents around the world :)
The Aussie accent/pronunciation in my part of the world makes names sound like this:

gyaban = guy-a-ban (rhymes with can)

Art Roflmao = Art Roff-la-mayo (very gently on the 'la')

jagar = rhymes with the video game console 'Sega' ie: Jay-gar

It would be interesting to find out how the owners of these names would like them to be pronounced!

One of my fave parts was hearing Gyaban pronounce his own name.

It was not at ALL as my Southern USA mind had always told me it was.

And I was surprised to hear from Art/Ken himself that his name is pronounced: "It is pronounced Roff-la-mao (or "mow" rhymes with "pow")"

I've been addicted to World of Warcraft for years and when I first joined this site I thought it was hilarious that there was someone named Art Roflmao. Not only did I know what it stood for but I have seen this video (although the subtitles are new) so many times I sing Art's name every time I see it ...

so you too can share in song... ROFLMAO

That's what I told Art on FB and that I admire him for listening to all our recorded verses. I really hope he didn't have to put that straight jacket back on :)

ETA. Oh wait I meant the Grinch thing plus our Christmas video. My bad. Didn't read the comment before

No need to be embarrassed Beata, I can never keep track of what is going on in these threads :)
But Ken, stop putting that ROFLMAO song back in my head!!!

Merry Christmas everyone

That was so much fun to be involved in making. I can't think of anything that better underscores the camaraderie of DPC in those days :-) Maybe we can all join in a collective New Years Resolution to bring it back...

You can read the poem from the link contained in the first post of this thread. The video plays in Adobe Flash I think. (I think this because I have video turned off so the video box shows up gray telling me to run Adobe Flash - so I'm assuming that's the plug in needed.)
