I am sooo sooo mad (with me) spend all day at a beautiful place, with flat light until sunset then the sun popped... Ran home edited put one up ARGH... almost time for roll over... did another version stuck it up DING the bell rang... I would've bee sooo much better to have stuck the straight out of the camera version on.... (In my wayyy weak defense) I had to run at the last min 1/2 mile UP hill to catch the light, after walking miles all day....I am OLD I can NOT do this kinda stuff!!!!

The last 15 votes have really hurt this score. I really feel cheated, as some votes seem to be DNMC type votes. I do wish people would follow the voting rules with regards to forum discussions during the voting period. I worked hard on my image and made an effort to meet the challenge with a quality photo. |

I just went though and rated. I honestly do no know how so many people have such low scores. There were some awesome shots in this challenge. I even gave out 2 tens and a handful of nines which is rare for me. I'll try to comment some more later.

I do wonder if a few folks are having fun with us. I was cruising along at around 5.70 up through 37 votes, and then it dropped in a matter of 2 or 3 votes to 5.50 and then at 47 votes, it leveled off at the 5.30 range.
Oh, well. I guess we'll survive whatever is happening here.

I appreciate the two very good comments. This score is now lower than my entry in Princess Bride challenge. That's really ridiculous based on the relative caliber of the images. There's something wrong with the voting in this Reflections challenge. I ask that those who are voting DNMC-like low votes on images which clearly meet the challenge explain themselves in comments on the images. If my image is DNMC, I'd like to know. |
