Maybe someone can go through the list of entrants and send out a "bulk" PM announcing the project (to those who haven't already responded), asking them to list their objection (if any) to use of their photo; they can list it here by some deadline (one week?). That would make it more "officially" OK ...

I have no objection. Ok to use mine.

Here is a rough draft (20x30 setup) with the first few images ... be sure to click on the link to view the full-sized image or you may need to get a new monitor and keyboard (you've been warned!)

This method has the advantage of automatically including the title and photographer. Let me know what other text (if any) you want on there ...

How wonderful of you, General!

If you're tired... I have a program that will do this in one click, but the images will be differing sizes...

Also, EVERYONE, make sure that whoever prints it does not add sharpening. I just had mine printed to send to Dallas and I used the image from DPC... it's WAY overly sharpened now, since the printer place sharpens always. *sigh*

I'm almost half-way through ... :-)

I'm not aware of any over-sharpening issues with DPC Prints -- they've always had a reputation for being very high-quality if, a little more expensive than some places.

If you have more information there is a ticket form to submit printing issues directly to Langdon -- it would be an important thing to fix if it's indeed happening. My plan ws to put it in my print gallery at the base price, so that people could just order their own prints directly.

Oh! No... I wasn't talking about DPC Prints.

Just local places...

I see ... one more resson to have them all printed at the same place. :-)

Another possibility would be for Denielle to put it in her print gallery, and to then mark up the price and generate some additional income, though I think entrants should be eligible for one print at cost ... maybe there can be one version available at cost, and another for an additional "donation" ...

Feel free to use mine

I was hoping to place the images in order of finish, but it doesn't look like they will fit that way -- I think I'll just have to sort them by size ... :-(

I think it will be more fun that way anyway, General.

I've posted what I hope is the final draft, and inquired of Langdon if there's any problem distributing it through DPC Prints -- though I haven't heard back from him yet ...

That looks really good, Paul.

Excellent work!

Let's get the details sorted, and then we'll send a few copies over to Dallas and his family.

Paul, great work! (although it was confusing at first, but refreshing my browser cache helped).

Just dropping by to say that the poster looks GREAT!!! and to be on the safe side, I wanted to post that you have my permission to use my photo as you please. I hope that this poster goes up on DPC Prints with the proceeds going to the little guy. I would definitely purchase one!
