....Dark-eyed Junco, Gray-Headed, Junco hyemalis....same subspecies, better photo.

hey guys sorry I haven't caught up with the tally yet but I've been very busy and I really haven't had time. I'm only on here to write this and check on progress but I promise I will catch up soon.

I spent the afternoon & evening hiking, on the lookout for birds. I saw quite a few species, but either wasn't quick enough with the camera (belted kingfisher, partridge) or the birds were just too far away (great cormorant, great blue heron, male bufflehead). It was a great day regardless, I spotted 2 porcupines high up in trees, a small raccoon resting in a willow tree, a white-tailed deer & thousands of Canada Geese.

The weather has been bad here so wasn't able to take too many bird shots this weekend. These were the ones I got.

Lace Neck Dove
Sparrow
Plover
Black Swan

Thanks for keeping track. I have 2 'Robin' images so my total should be lowered by one.
