Just submited to everyday objects. Number 291...
11:40pm here so still a lot of American hours until submissions close. This is going to be a big one.
Get your voting fingers warmed up...

doh! I knew there was something I had to do tonight!

would this have counted as an object? (text removed)

Still some way to go to be record territory however.

Technically, yes. For the challenge, I predict it wouldn't fare well. Most folks don't think of flowers as everyday objects (IMHO) although I suppose, by definition, they are. Then again, who knows? It's a good image; perhaps it would have done well (without the text, of course).

Edit: Basically, I have no idea what I'm talking about, as usual.

Important announcement:

I have, after much thought, prayer, and medica...I mean, meditation, decided not to submit anything to this challenge. I am at peace with my decision. I am reminded of the old saying, "Garbage in, garbage out." I shall not be pressured to enter garbage anymore.

Now, good citizens, you may return back to your lives.

Same here. I'm doing too well with my album cover entry to challenge karma with a bad entry to the Object challenge. Already prepping for a Macro IV shot...

I passed on this challenge because it didn't quite inspire me. However, Macro XXXVII does!:)

Well, an everyday object just cried out to me so I tried something really 'out there'. I think it looks cool but it might bomb. It'll probably bomb. Oh Christ - what have I done.

I feel better now.

I just hope it doesn't bomb :-)
