Still doing about as I expected, would be nice to finish above 6, though I suspect I will end up between 5.8 and 6 as the week progresses. I'm very pleased to have 10 comments (all nice) at this stage though!
Now I must crack on with the voting, only 1/3rd of the way through =). |

OK, that was quite a task but very enjoyable. It's funny how fast you can go through and vote when you've already commented on each photo. Sorry to say I find it a little bit offensive that my entry is scoring at 6.3 compared to many other DMC (Do Meet Challenge) images and images definitely better in composition and focus.
Really a shame that two people so far have scored it a 9, and five have scored it an 8.
And four people have left moderately positive comments! I am sorry, but you are really wrong.
Fortunately, there is time left in the challenge voting--perhaps voters will lower the score to a less offensively high level, and I will get no more nice comments, which will save you all from a post-challenge complaint thread in the forums!

| Plummeted from 6.75 to 6.01 in the last 24hours. Funny though, comments (all positive) increased as did 1 fave. Bounced back this morning to 6.11 |

If you don't start the post challenge complaint thread, then how can we ponder your failings as a photographer and a human being ?
It seems your advice has seemingly been taken to heart by the voters and the offensively high voting is leveling off. My entry is now below the clown bar. |

You'd have to read this thread from the beginning, as well as comments on the photo in question, to have a reference for my sarcasm. I cannot in good conscience recommend that you do so, however..... |
