So what was wrong with SandyP's image in the first challenge? I don't know what "processing a RAW file twice" means.

She did two RAW conversions. One adjusted properly for the bird and the second for the background. Then she layered them together and masked through where needed. Apparently, the SC felt she took that technique a bit too far to where it changed the viewers description of the scene.

Finished photographing my entry an hour ago, and submitted it with 50 minutes to spare. Whew!
