I got this photo ready to submit to the Freedom Challenge and checked one more time to make sure every thing was right... and realized I took this three hours before the challenge started :(

I think it may have done well. How would you have scored it? All comments welcome.

That's a shame, Faye...it's a sweet photo. I bet it would have done well, too! I would have scored it a 6 or 7 anyway. It looks like it might could use a bit of a contrast boost, but that may be my bleary eyes!! LOL

I like the concept. I probably would of given you a 7, the boy in the background is a little blurry, but I like it. Pity it didnt make it in time.

Don't forget the challenge cutoffs are Eastern time. Did you take this shot after 9PM your time the day before? If so, the challenge had started.

Ack! I took it after 9pm West coast. I could have entered it. Thanks for the lesson learned :)

No problem. At least you know for next time.

I probably would have given this about a 7... the choice of background could be better but other than that it is a very good entry and depicts the challenge topic well.

Yeah ... a 7 or 8. It reminds (positively!) me of two of my earliest entries:


Would you mind changing the title of this thread? I find it misleading, and it's unfortunately possible we'll need it "for real" at some point ...

These are great photos. Yes they are quite similar.

Yep if I knew how I would? :) Feel free to change it. How about "missed the Freedom Challence"
