Still Standing!
This lonely tree is still standing after the New Year's Eve tornado in western Arkansas. It is less than 75 yards from where an elderly lady lost her life when her home was leveled. She was one of eight to die in the storm - four in Arkansas and four in Missouri.

Week 2 image, 1 week late.
Another one from the archives... I just havent been out at all to take photos. I must remedy that soon... im getting cabin fever. Both of my Photo a Week images have been cross processed, and I am liking the results so far.
I will be back later on to leave comments for others.... please excuse my tardiness.

Week 3 life in a small town
Rodeo this weekend and this rider got hung up. His foot was hung in the rope. He got steped on but is OK. I always get in the arena to shoot this time I got tangled up in the mess of people getting away from the bull. I went to the fence to get up out of the arena and they brought the Rider over that had been stepped on. He could not stand so I was helping them get him over the fence. Teh people on the other side would not get back out of the way so as we were going over the fence I kicked someone in the head. Did not know who until later. there were some teenage girls next to the fence and I told them to watch out incase i had to jump the fence I did not want to hit them. One of the girls said I had kicked her. She was fine but she said she would move this time. |

Back In Scotland - Week 4
The Fourth Road bridge. I had driven 30 miles to take a picture of the Forth (Rail) Bridge for the 100 years old challenge, only to discover that it was all covered up and the lights were out due to maintenance work, so I settled on this one instead, but since it's not 100 years old it was no good for the challenge, oh well. |
