I still have no comments on my photo. Must be pretty bad..and what are people looking for in extraordinary anyway? I don't know what people expected to see here. I know I sure didn't know what I was going to see when it was time to vote. Anyway... 4.2 at 19 votes. 0 comments.
This blows!!!
I think I am one of the nice people voting...

I'm getting slammed 3.6667. I don't think people like my interpretation of the word...

I thought my photography was supposed to improve on this site: Over the last 6 challenges I've entered my percentile keeps going down...
1. 87% 5.910
2. 50% 4.959
3. 24% 4.650
4. 23% 4.754
5. 21% 4.558
6. 11% 4.714
And this one so far: 26 votes, 3.8077 and 26 comments (no just kidding, a whopping ZERO comments)

Let's see, I should get down in the bottom 10% to keep up the graph.

Its good that you like your photo and I hope its something you did for You and not for the challenge. I wouldnt spend money like that for an internet contest, but then again I'm cheap ;) hehe

Cheers

*sighs* Everyone I've shown it to has gone "wow!" and "awesome" and then this. Maybe it's time for another break from DPC and just focus on having fun while taking pics (which I do anyway but then I don't get one to fit the challenges that others like)... (I know a 5.2 isn't bad -"Newspaper"- but it is depressing when I thought it would do so much better than that.)

It's funny how the photo jaded folks here don't always feel the same :P

3.7! Hahahahahahahahahahah...

I just hope it keeps going down so I can get a stinky ribon. :)

Hope your picture will climb for you Amy and that you won't be disappointed this time. Your new camera takes a VERY nice picture - I really like your purple sheep picture in the Newspaper challenge.

Keep taking pictures, scores really don't matter that much. When you're young it's a lot harder to take disappointment - you get used to it as you get older.

Came home from a night out last night at 3am, had a couple of small drinks. And low and behold discovered that it was only 10pm in DPC world and i still had time to submit (I had already decided that i wouldn't). Now the shot i submitted last night was DEFINATELY IN focus. Unfortunatly someone has now made it out of focus...
Looks like i could be heading for the brown ribbon.
4.22 and falling fast.

Well, you live and learn that booze and photography don't mix.

lol nope just try having 1 drink and drive across any highway and take moving shot of traffic. nice affect but does not play well with others. I'm sitting at 5.2 with a shot I thought fit wel but when it was resized lost a LOT. Thats ok it's time for me to start voting.

warning: drinking and driving is NOT a good idea and even worse is using a flash for a driving at night shot.

I had 2 other photo's in mind to submit, but I decided to go with the "safe" photo in order to keep me in the mid 5's.

yeah ... I'm rockin' out with a 4.2

great job hopper, way to read the crowd.

:)

Is there a way to see each individual score? For example, if I have 20 votes and my average vote is 6,0
Can I see what number rating people gave me before the challenge is over?

4.3 here, a photo I really like and consider one of my stronger ones. Big part of the reason is probably the same as what makes some of the comments, "Disturbing..." and "Are you serious? I hope that is not real...". Here on DPC photographers get trashed for daring... Annoy's me very much.

No, I think that title belongs to me...after all, I got a comment that says, "You're a loser." Ain't DPC voters just sweet as pie?

I'm sitting at a 4.02...and that's just fine...the photo DOES look pretty bad...but the subject is EXTRAORDINARY! Just remember, we're all in this together! ;o)

Yeah, I think we all have different ideas about this challenge. My score has gone up slightly, not much to be happy about. But it's gradually rising. Can't wait to see the results of this one.
