...and was it worth it? The most I've spent was about $25 US, on a baseball uniform for the "Choices" challenge, and is was certainly worth it for me!
Thamer T.(tyt2000) spent about $30 US and got a red ribbon in the "Team Sports without Players" challenge.

Any others? :)

$5.00 on coloured acetates to hold in front of my flash for my Multiple Sources of Light picture titled "Faces of Light".

Very pleased with that pic...and only 5 bucks!

Yeah I was going to ask you if you used a yellow one in the middle or if that was a natural color? I remember thinking your son looked pretty sickly in that one.

It was a yellow one.
Lol...Was going with the three primary colors red, blue, yellow.
You know...light broken down to it's three basic parts thingy.

He had such a serious look on his face!

A little under $1,000 including tax for my new Rebel kit. My first entry with the new camera (Choices) was a personal best. Oh -- add to that $1.50 for the candy bar and half a buck for the apple.

Was it worth it? So far, heck yeah! :-)

Ditto that! After announcing my new dRebel in another thread, someone said that what I paid for it would be a drop in the bucket and boy were they ever right! New bag, couple of lenses, a flash... well who needs to eat, right!?

But I did spend $1.97 for a prop the other day. Thank goodness for Wal-Mart (THE source for cheap, plastic crap)!

Hehe, I honestly wasn't gonna go ahead with the idea because I thought a virtual ribbon wasn't worth $30! Too bad i'm not gonna use the soccer ball and net anymore, a waste of money in some way, but a virtual ribbon is a nice reward :P

Gas money, toll fees, parking fees (pretty steep here in Seoul) and entrance fees :)

$2(AUS) on the gerbera for the Multiple Light Sources challenge. Best $2 I've spent :-)

$2.50 (NZ) for a pack of two mouse traps for:

as we have a four legged mouse trap that does the job normally, and:

Cost me $3 in lollies for Kate (Wife) in payment for holding Phoebe (The daughter/model) for a few minutes while I mucked around getting the rid of reflections in the glass. On the up side Phoebe worked for free, as she dosn't eat lollies yet! :-).
