This is a lot of fun. I'm enjoying the different styles & subjects.

It's funny too that you can figure out where people put their icons by the way they design their images. I always put my icons on my left, so I like my subject on the right. But it looks like we have quite a few opposites of this in this SC.

So true!! MAC users generally have their icons on the right and pc users on the left. My grass wallpaper satisfies both users. ; )

I was fixing up an image by a friend (Chris Burns..), essentially it was a normal P&S image, noisy, low contrast, etc.. So while I was fixing it up for a desktop, I mentioned this side challenge and he thought sharing it would be cool, so. Here's my edit of his picture, I think it does make a nice desktop image, and in any case, and it did come out fairly nice for a snapshot with a P&S...

Hmmm I guess we'll let you slide on this one but taking other peoples images and working on them doesn't seem too kosher ( at least for this) ; )
And while I'm chewing on you, don't be too surprised how fabulous some point and shoot images can be - both my blue ribbons were taken with a point and shoot. ; )

I figured I could slide on this, besides, if people say enough nice things, maybe he'll be lured into this madness... :)

Ok- you are forgiven! I'm off, like a prom dress, to shoot a wedding. Be prepared to be dazzled by tomorrow's wallpaper!

This was fun lol. I think I went overboard though. Moon and root are not my pictures, textures and skyline are.

One of my better bird shots, which may not be saying much. I think it works as a wallpaper, though. Can anyone identify this bird for me? I thought it was a variety of vulture, but I'm not sure.

After 2 different nights of shooting fireworks, I have too many! LOL! I'll try to find something else for the rest of the month and maybe use some as overlays.

Are we limited to June & July for this? I have some pics I have been using as wallpapers for myself, but taken earlier than that. This one is a June shot, however:

A high-key approach.. Not for use in darker rooms :)
