I would like more blur on the black squares in this one. The sudden transition from dark to light disturbs my eyes a bit. Perhaps with everything in the image dark except the path and the tree? I don't know. BUT, this is some great imagination you have going here. :)

Very cool image, I like the walk path that leads you into the forest, and the border style, unusual, but it's effective for this application..
